As I traveled through Europe, I took hundreds of photographs of centuries-old carvings, statues and tiles. What you see here was the natural next step as a stitcher: a translation of those images into cross-stitch and needlepoint designs.

The TI designs are inspired by antique tiles and other historical objects from my own collection, or taken from a public domain site, or used with the original artist's or their agent's permission. These designs are generated with the help of computer software and finalized with hours of customized adjustment. Each design is in full stitches, using DMC cotton floss. A conversion chart from DMC to Soie d'Alger threads is available, as many of these designs are especially beautiful when stitched in lustrous silk. While the product images here read as flat virtual stitch views, the actual completed projects are brilliantly three-dimensional, with subtle shading and coloring.

All designs are original, and cannot be purchased from any other supplier.

I hope you enjoy stitching and displaying these works of art as much as I have.
